Ambassador, Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe
Michèle Eisenbarth is the Ambassador of Luxembourg to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. She has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg since 1995, and among others, she has been the country’s Ambassador to NATO and to the European Union. Ambassador Eisenbarth has a Masters degree in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Oxford as well as Degrees in Economics from Luxembourg and Switzerland.
She serves as a Member of the Governing Board at the Council of Europe Development Bank and Chair of the Committee of Ministers Rapporteur Group on Education, Culture, Sport, Youth and Environment ( GR-C.)
